After I completed my matric I pursued an Engineering qualification with Damelin College, but this was not where my passion is. I have had a keen interest in music, I started pursuing being a DJ in 2010 and entering a Red Square DJ knockout where I took the fifth position in the provincials.
During my journey of exploring the deejaying process, I felt like I could do more and that's when I began to be curious about dance. My friends taught me how to dance by drawing squares on the floor. The first dance genre that I learned is iSbhujwa, I enhanced my dance vocab by adding Hip Hop and Pantsula as time went by.
I have been fortunate to have worked with local and international artists such as Drake, Tanisha Scott and Somizi, to mention a few. I have been the subject in two documentaries on SABC 2, Talk SA and EACH ONE TEACH ONE. The latter won an award for the best documentary that year. I have been on TV adverts and starred in the movie, THE ULTIMATE where I was the main character.
In 2018, I joined Vuyani Dance Theatre where I started learning Gregory Maqoma's technique, The Pulse Theory Technique as well the the “Cocktail” which the company is celebrated for. It has been during my time at Vuyani that I have performed in Maqoma’s Cion Requiem of Ravel’s Bolero at Joburg Theatre, Rise which we performed in Johannesburg and New York at Fall For Dance. In 2020, I toured with the company to be part of the Sharjah Fringe Festival in the United Arab Emirates. I have also performed in numerous corporate events including Scenarios 2030 with the President of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa in attendance. In 2022 I took on being a company member at Rambert Dance Company and toured with the work Peaky Bliners as lead performer. Most recently I have been a finalist on Britain’s Got Talent and was invited to be on Simon Cowell’s team on America’s Got Talent Fantasy League.
